It allows for greater range and mobility within your wireless network while also allowing you to connect the wireless devices to a wired environment. The TL-WA500G is able to be powered using an Ethernet cable to simultaneously send data and electricity to wherever your AP may be located even up to 100 feet away. TL-WA500G provides WPA/WPA2 encryptions (Both Personal and Enterprises) that are created by the WI-FI Alliance industry group, promoting interpretabilities and security for WLAN. Detachable Antenna - Upgradeable to Your Desire. TL-WA500G offers 4dBi high gain external antenna that can be rotated and adjusted in different directions to fit various operation environments. For even more demanding applications, such as long distance transmission, the antenna can be replaced with higher gain antennas to show even greater flexibility and wider wireless range.
